‘Imagine Peace’
The Mount Vernon Evening Lions Club announced the winners of the International Lions Peace Contest which was held at Mt. Eagle Elementary School. First prize was awarded to Karen Canales and second prize went to Shalia Romero-Morales. The theme for this year contest was "Imagine Peace" and was offered to all sixth graders at the school. Karen Canales poster (above) will now compete in Lions District 24-A contest.
