New family member - almost! One evening a while back, Cat Cinco wandered into the room looking extremely weird. His mouth had black smudges on it, and he had what looked to be a black pencil hanging from his chest. Looking more carefully, I saw that the pencil was wriggling and had 4 tiny appendages, so I took a facial tissue and picked it off of him.
It was a partially live skink with part of his tail missing (thanks to Cinco). Yech. I do understand that skinks are "good guys" and eat bugs; however, I wish I'd met him some other way!
