Nearly 200 revelers came to An Evening at Casino Royale last month to raise funds for Rebuilding Together Alexandria, a volunteer-based, non-profit organization that preserves affordable housing and revitalizes communities throughout the city. The event raised nearly $60,000, which will be used to provide free home repairs and renovations to low-income homeowners. Above, players roll dice and use Monopoly money. The event also honored Katherine Shiplett of CBRE as Volunteer of the Year; Mark Kohler of Kohlmark Group as Philanthropist of the Year; and First Baptist Church of Alexandria as Philanthropic Organization of the Year. All of these honorees have greatly helped Rebuilding Together fulfill its mission over the years.
