Valentines cards dry on tarps at the Herndon Senior Center on Jan. 21, made by participants in Volunteer Fairfax’s Give Together day for The Holiday Project, a national organization that sends holiday cards to people confined to hospitals, nursing homes and other institutions. Over 300 people and their families participated in the event at the Senior Center.
