Members of American Legion Post 24 celebrated the organization's 94th birthday March 15 by presenting Legion membership cards to Johnnie Carr and Permus Hall, World War II veterans residing at the Envoy assisted living facility in Alexandria. Representing Post 24 were Carolyn Carol, Henry Dorton, Warden Foley, Bill Aramony, Erik Campbell and Jim Glassman. Also pictured are 17th District Vice Commander Cordell Creditt and Springfield Post 176 First Vice Commander Maudie Price.
