Dr. Ben Enav, a medical advisor for the Washington D.C. Area Eosinophilic Connection (WAEC) participated in last year's 5K run/walk. He's one of the few doctors in the area familiar with the rare disorder, in which exposure to food can cause hives to occur on the inside of a person's esophagus, among other digestive problems.
