Thelma’s Store, both inside and out, was also a great subject for my camera. Nearly every kid in Great Falls was raised on Thelma’s ice cream. This image was taken on a September evening just after the sun had set. I always found it difficult to get decent shots of the place because there was so much stuff scattered around outside, as well as inside the store. I feel that a night-time shot helps to eliminate some of the clutter and create a bit more mystery to the place.
