The McDonald’s Family Restaurants of Greater Washington, D.C. provided 42 scholarships this year including two Arlington students. Local McDonald’s owners and operators awarded the honorees scholarships in amounts of $5,000 or $1,500, which will go directly to the college or university the student plans to attend in the upcoming fall. To date, the McDonald’s Educates Scholarship Program has donated more than $800,000 to local students.
