At the 2014 Centreville High School Senior Awards ceremony, senior James Nicholas was awarded the Lt. Jeffrey J. Kaylor Memorial Scholarship. Pictured are James with his parents, Joe and Linda Nicholas. Each award recipient receives a scholarship award of $1,000 towards the school of their choice. James will be attending West Virginia Wesleyan College in the fall majoring in criminal justice and playing baseball for the Bobcats. The scholarship, honoring Lt. Jeff Kaylor who was killed in action in Iraq on April 7, 2003, is open to any Centreville High School senior who best exemplifies the qualities set by the memorial scholarship criteria.
