Yvonne Landis and Melody Mayo of Falls Church let out a cheer after their wedding ceremony outside the Fairfax County Government Center. They were wed by Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax Rev. Laura Horton-Ludwig on Oct. 6, becoming the first same-sex couple wed legally in the county.
