Susan Scanlon, a Vienna resident for three years, lived abroad in La Paz Bolivia for three years with her husband who is in the Foreign Service: “Vienna’s got a charming old town. I love coming down Church Street. There’s the small town feel where it’s still a big city with a close-knit community. When you lived abroad it’s nice to come back to a close-knit community. I still keep in touch with people overseas through Facebook.”
