Bowls for Sunday’s event were provided by artists from various local ceramic studios and art departments, including Lee Arts Center, Alexandria Clay Co-op, Thomas Jefferson Community Center Art Studio, Washington-Lee High School, Episcopal High School and Marymount University.

For the fifth year, area ceramic studios and restaurants joined forces with the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) for its annual Empty Bowls fundraising event.
