At the new Alta Strada in Fairfax's Mosaic District, Chef Michael Schlow displays a plate of crunchy meatballs, one of their specialties. The restaurant’s yellow stucco storefront is similar to mid-century Italian facades, and rows of windows in the front slide apart in nice weather. See www.altastrada-mosaic.com.
