Staff Sgt. Jhosue Escate, a Marine Corps recruiter, attended the Washington-Lee High School graduation to support Xavian Henson.
“He wants to be an officer,” said Escate. “He wants to serve his country and eventually join politics. Joining the Marines will help pay for his college and give him leadership experience.”
