On May 9, 2018, the National Defense University community celebrated Foreign Affairs Day by inducting NDU alumni Ambassador William Brownfield, NWC ’93, and Ambassador Joyce Barr, ICAF/ES ’01, into the National Hall of Fame. Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan gave remarks. The ceremony concluded with a fireside chat and question and answer session moderated by Ambassador Ron Neumann, NWC ’91, and was followed by a reception and cake-cutting. The events took place at the Fort McNair campus in Washington, DC.
