The Nugents of Great Falls are also fostering BB, who they rescued from an uncertain fate. In addition to living a life of neglect, he had been hit by a car and suffered injuries to one of his legs, which have rendered it useless. The Nugents have been nursing him through heartworm treatment and will be caring for him through his amputation surgery and recovery.
