Man, Woman of the Year

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society kicked off its 2005 Man and Woman of the Year campaign last week at eCiti Cafe and Bar in Tysons Corner.

Fifteen candidates were recognized including the 2005 Honorary Candidate Ken Dineen of Accenture. This year’s candidates are, Jim Banks, Jason Baum, Pete Bianco, Gregg Howell, Christopher Malloy, Ray Regan, Bill Schwartz, Pam Burns, Lizzy Conroy, Jessica Christine Johns, Cheryl Romero, Nancy Shahin Itteilag, Colleen Sasser and Cid Szegedy.

During the next 10 weeks, the 15 candidates will raise dollars (votes) for continued research into the cures of blood cancers. This year’s co-chairs are Dave Dorrus of L.J.Melody and Company and Tatiana Platt of American Online, Inc.
