On Thursday evening, despite the threat of rain earlier in the day, about a hundred people came out to enjoy the summertime sounds of Malhala Township Jive as they performed at the Nottoway Nights summer concert series sponsored by the Fairfax County Park Authority. Malhala gave the audience a taste of township jive, music originating from South Africa and surrounding areas that brought a little bit of Capetown to Vienna.
