Although faced with something of a rough takeoff, the Briar Woods High School drama department's prospects for the future are really looking up. Christened as the Black Forest Productions for its sophomore year and under the helm of a new director, Marilyn "Stonewall" Gilligan, the department has been reshaped, reorganized, and revitalized for the better. The success of the winter musical "The Music Man" has heartened the members of the drama department, and they hope to be able to produce shows of increasing quality in the future.
