Alexandria Chief of Police Tarrick McGuire celebrated the promotions of several APD officers in a city ceremony held June 26.
Several personnel were promoted to various ranks, including sergeant, lieutenant, captain and assistant chief.
“How you lead, how you motivate others will determine the success of this organization,” said City Manager James Parajon. “You are well suited for this opportunity.”
Promotions included: Teya Siva to crime analyst supervisor; Gabriel Terrell, Zachary Anderson, Ryan Gonzalez, Nicholas Bilardo, Johnny Larios, and Duglos Quint to Sergeant; Damon Minnix, Brendan Jackson, Gregory Holden, and Daniel Schultz to Lieutenant; Marcus Downey, John East, and Tony Moore to Captain; and Mike May and Jason North to Assistant Chief.
“I salute you and I am proud of you,” said McGuire. “I look forward to what you will do to support the department and serve the city of Alexandria.”
