PFC Ryan N. Myers Named American Legion Post 180 Vienna Police Officer of the Year
On April 3, The American Legion Post 180 in Vienna held its annual ceremony and banquet dinner to honor their 2013 Town of Vienna Police Officer of the Year. This year’s recipient was PFC Ryan N. Myers.

Total Framing, at 9528 Main St. in Fairfax, will hold its second annual blood drive in honor of Owen Wicks (the son of a Clifton Elementary alumnus) and Ryan Dillon (whose father was a former Clifton Elementary P.E. teacher). Both lost their battles with Osteosarcoma earlier this year, but this blood drive is to honor their memories and help others batting cancer and other diseases and conditions requiring transfusions.

Woman Reportedly Robbed and Shot in Fairfax
Fairfax County Police said detectives are currently investigating a robbery and shooting that took place on Kenerson Drive in Fairfax. Around 11:50 p.m. on July 11, a man and woman reportedly drove up to their home after spending the evening at a casino.
