The International Chabad-Lubavitch organization is establishing a new Jewish institution, Chabad at Tysons, which will serve Vienna, McLean and Great Falls. Chabad welcomes all Jews regardless of background or affiliation, according to Rabbi Levi Deitsch, who will direct Chabad at Tysons. On Oct. 3, St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Vienna will begin the seventh year of Rainbows for All God’s Children, a support group for children who have lost a parent due to death, divorce, separation or abandonment. The program consists of 12 sessions with three to five children per group. The sessions are facilitated by adults from St. Mark’s who are chosen and trained by Rainbows. Free.
