<lst>The following is a list of stray pets that are being held at the Loudoun County Animal Shelter, located on Route 9 at the intersection of Route 704. Animals can be viewed at the shelter Monday, Tuesday, 1-6 p.m.; Wednesday, 1-8 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday 10:00 a.m.- 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. The shelter number is 703-777-0406 or 540-882-3211. It is also possible to adopt animals.
<cal1>Labor Day
<cal2>Closed. The Loudoun County Department of Animal Care and Control and the Animal Shelter facility on Route 9 near Waterford will be closed for the observance of Labor Day. Operations will resume on Sept. 3. During the closing, Animal Control Officers will remain on duty to respond to designated emergencies only.
