Roger G. DeKok will serve as the new vice-president and general manager of TRW Systems of Reston's Command, Control and Intelligence Division. Although the division is based in Fairfax and has over 3,500 employees in several locations across the country, DeKok will be based in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Kathleen Sciaroni, a Reston resident, graduated in the Spring semester 2002 from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Army Pvt. David C. Phillips has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Ga. He is the son of Bradford Phillips of 1005 Van Buren St. in Herndon, and Bonnie Phillips of Radford Circle in Chesapeake.

Army Pvt. Jason R. Keith has arrived for duty at Camp Henry, Taegu, South Korea. Keith is a paralegal specialist assigned to Headquarters, 19th Theater Support Command. He is the son of James R. and Jan R. Keith of 2341 Old Trail Drive, Reston. His wife Nicole is the daughter of Lee Altieri of 521 Florida Ave., Herndon. Keith is a 1998 graduate of South Lakes High School.

Cadet Keith Hudon, who held the rank of Command Sergeant Major and served as the Battalion Sergeant Major at Massanutten Military Academy in Woodcock, Va., has been recommended for the position of S-4 Supply Officer. Hudon will receive the full promotion after successful completion of Cadre Leadership Training in August for the 2002-03 school year. The invitation to return as a cadet leader followed an interview process with a selection board that tested his character, leadership and academic potential as well as military knowledge and knowledge of the Academy rules and regulations. Hudon is working in the MMA Admissions Office as a Cadet Recruiter this summer and serving as the Battalion Commander for the Summer Cadet Program. He is the son of Thomas Hudon of Reston and Roberta Hudon of McLean. Hudon finished the 11th grade at the academy. During the 2001-2002 school year, Hudon received the following academic awards: a Bronze (3.0-3.49 GPA) and Silver (3.5-3.99 GPA) Eagle Academic Awards and was Most Improved in Pre-calculus and French III. He received the following athletic awards: Soccer and Track and Field Varsity Letters.
