Gerald V. Foster and Harold Hamlette have recently joined the Virginia office of the Randall H. Hagner & Company, Inc. Established in 1904, Randall H. Hagner & Company is a commercial real estate company that serves Northern Virginia.

CarrHomes, Inc. is launching HomeWatch, a new Internet-based customer communication program that allows buyers to track on-line the construction of their new home.

With a password, buyers will be able to monitor construction status of their new house on the builder's web site, carrhomes.com. The access will be fully implemented for all of the builder's new communities.

DynCorp's Systems Solutions unit has been awarded a three-year task order under the General Services Administration's (GSA) Applications 'N Support for Widely-diverse Enduser Requirements (ANSWER) contract valued at $7.9 million.

Alliance Bank Corporation has hired B. Drew Brown as vice president of its new Reston branch, which is scheduled to open in June. Brown has nearly 20 years of local banking experience, having spent the last 13 years at Cardinal Bank in Reston.

Decorating Den Interiors of Northern Virginia recently raised $3,596 at its fifth annual fund-raiser to benefit the Northern Virginia Habitat for Humanity. Penny Draker has joined the Sheraton Reston management team. Draker will assist with all corporate and government convention and conference sales at the Sheraton Reston Hotel. Draker's previous sales management experience includes being a sales director at several large hotels. Draker graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a bachelor of science degree.
