<cal2>Little Rocky Run will hold a community yard sale Saturday, May 18, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Items sold that day at 13629 South Springs Drive will help fund travel expenses for Centreville High's Odyssey of the Mind team, heading to Colorado, later this month, to participate in the World Competition.

<cal2>Walney Visitor's Center will hold its 20th anniversary celebration on Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at E.C. Lawrence Park. The event will include Civil War re-enactors, farm animal displays, site tours, tobacco planting and garden tours, woodworking and smokehouse demonstrations and butter making along with tastings. The Youth and Family Volunteer Day will take place on Saturday, May 18. On this day, families around Fairfax County will participate in volunteer projects. Families can help by recovering children's books at a local library, gardening with senior residents, participating in a stream clean up at a nature center, or helping to replicate a fence from the 18th century at a historic site. Joey and Maria’s Comedy Italian Wedding begins its evening with Joey and Maria’s ceremony, the first of many scenes in which members of the audience are treated as actual participants. The Italian family-style dinner adds a touch of realism to the festivities; the celebration that follows finds the actors talking and dancing with the guests, making them key players in the wedding reception that fills much of the two-and-a-half hour show.

<cal2>Take the stage in the Pied Piper Theatre Summer Camps. Camps are available for ages 5-18 and are offered in both Manassas and Woodbridge. Theatre Express! for ages 8-12 is a musical theater day camp which runs for two weeks. Students receive training in acting, improvisation, voice, dance and stage combat in the morning session with a musical production class in the afternoon.
