Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, also known as the Irish Musicians Association, presents "Echos of Ireland" as part of their 17-city tour of the U.S. and Canada. The group consists of 19 young Irish musicians, step-dancers and singers who were selected from competitions around Ireland. “Soldiers in the Attic” is the focus of a guided walking tour of the Blenheim Estate at 1 p.m. Owned by four generations of the locally prominent Willcoxon family, the house, built about 1858, contains a large quantity of graffiti left by Union soldiers during the Civil War. The walking tour will also include stops at the family cemetery and Grandma’s Cottage, a mid-19th Century house recently relocated to the site, and conclude with a look at future restoration and interpretation plans.
