<cal2>Great Falls' Starshine Theater is seeking young actors for a full-production performance workshop to begin in late October. Boys and girls 7-16 will become "the original cast" of a new musical drama, "The Seven Wonders of the World." Rehearsals will begin on Saturday, Oct. 26 (audition day), from 1:15-2:45 p.m. at the School of Theatrical Dance in Great Falls, and continue through Jan. 25 (call for holiday break & recording session info). The Great Falls Players present their 2002-03 season, consisting of plays by Neil Simon. “Laughter on the 23rd Floor” runs from Nov. 1-23 at the Great Falls Grange. “London Suite” runs from Feb. 22-March 7 at the Alden Theater at the McLean Community Center. “Star Spangled Girl” runs March 14-28 at the Alden Theater at the McLean Community Center. The Vienna Theater Company's production of the comedy "Same Time Next Year" will be held at the Vienna Community Center, located at 120 Cherry St. S.E., Vienna, on Oct. 25 and 26, and Nov. 1 and 2 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. (signed performance.) Tickets are $8 general admission and $7 for students and seniors (65 and older) and are available at the Community Center. Call the Vienna Parks and Recreation Department at 703-255-6360.

The Alden Theatre at the McLean Community Center will present Robin and Linda Williams and their group in Concert on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 8 p.m. This husband-and-wife team will present a blend of bluegrass folk and old-time and acoustic country. Tickets are $14 and $11 for district residents. The McLean Community Center is located on 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean.
