Officer Jason Long spotted the vehicle and suspect in the parking lot of Brighton Mall on Manitoba Drive near Little River Turnpike in the Lincolnia area. Long, along with fellow officers, conducted a felony traffic stop and took the suspect, later identified as Murray, into custody without incident. Investigation revealed that Murray and the victim are acquaintances. Murray had attempted to get the victim to pull her car over so they could talk, but the victim refused.
