There were games and pony rides for children in the Braddock Road Field at G.W. Middle School last Saturday, along with musical and dance entertainment throughout the day as Operation H.O.P.E. and the Untouchables hosted their second annual 1 Love community festival.
Entertainment started off with gospel soloist John Peterbark, followed by Temeka Paige "Devonne" and her band.
Event sponsors were the William D. Euille Foundation, Alfred Street Baptist Church, Sentel Corporation, Passport Nissan, Stephen Weinstock, Giant Food, Tenant Worker's Association, Dunkin Donuts, Hoyt's Theatre, Blue & White Carry-out, Al's Steak Shop, John Boy's, Kinko's and Another Level Barbershop.
