Springfield Music Club is a local organization that meets September through May on the second Tuesday of the month. Meetings and programs usually take place at Jordan Kitt's Showroom on Gallows Road in Vienna at 10 a.m. The 30 minute business meeting is open to members and programs which follow the meetings are open to all interested. Programs range from opera to baroque trios to member recitals. The club also offers workshops for music teachers. The club is made up of over 150 members who are professional music teachers, performers and music lovers. Burke Rotary Club has existed since June 1984, and meets each Tuesday, at 7:30 a.m., for breakfast.
