The fire caused damages totaling $500, according to departmental spokespersons. Llerena was held at Fairfax County Adult Detention Center pending a preliminary hearing.

Class 3 felonies can convey a term of life imprisonment or for any period not less than five years and a fine of not more than $100,000. A Class 6 felony can convey a term of no less than one year or more than five years and/or a fine of not more than $2,500.

No date has been set for the preliminary hearing, according to the department.
