Charlotte Anne Hutton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Powell Hutton of Arlington, has been named to the dean's list at Sewanee University in Tennessee for the fall 2001 term. To earn a place on the dean's list, a student must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.625 on a 4.0 scale.

Autumn Harrell of Arlington received a degree from Loyola University New Orleans during its fall commencement at the university Dec. 15.

Andrea Roberts of Arlington made the dean's list for the fall 2002 semester at Loyola University New Orleans, for students completing the semester with a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

Rebecca Rosenberg of Arlington, a freshman at Goucher College north of Baltimore, was recently named to the dean's list for the fall semester of 2002. The minimum grade point average for the dean's list is 3.5 for first-year students.

Janet Owen of Arlington was named to the dean’s list for the 2002 fall semester at Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, Va.

Our Savior Lutheran School, located at 825 South Taylor St., is currently accepting applications for the 2003-2004 school year. The school offers grades K-8 and provides before and after school day care. Call 703-892-4846 between 8:30 and 3:30, Monday through Friday.

Cadet Steven Cragg of Arlington earned the Gold Eagle Academic Award for the second quarter at Massanutten Military Academy. Golden Eagles are cadets who achieved a grade point average of 3.8-4.0 on a 4.0 scale.
