Sandy Alexandria Jones, 94, formerly of Haymarket, Va., died Feb. 21, 2003. She had been a resident of South Ozone Park, N.Y.
Jones, who was born Jan. 9, 1909, was the daughter of Joseph Jones and Addie Landsdown Jones. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sterling.
She is survived by seven children: Arline Queen of Arlington, Va.; Edna Steward of Queens, N.Y.; Janetta Davis of Catharpin, Va.; Samuel Lee Jones of Manassas, Va.; Richard Jones of Sterling, Va.; Eugene Jones of Herndon and David Jones of Berryville, Va. In addition she is survived by 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Lyles Funeral Chapel, Purcellville. Funeral services will follow immediately after the viewing at the Lyles Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Annandale, Va.
