Herndon Police Chief Toussaint E. Summers has been serving as chief since June 25, 1999. He had 23 years of law enforcement experience with the Prince William County Police. Summers has a master's certificate in Administration of Justice from American University, and he is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy and the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy.
