<lst>The following incidents were reported to the Franconia Station of the Fairfax County Police Department.

<cal1>BURGLARY

<cal2>Morning View Lane 7800 block - A citizen reported a broken window at Island Creek Elementary School. Officers heard voices and found an open door with a window broken out. Investigation revealed two 16-year-old boys, one from Dale City and one from Landsdowne, were involved in the burglary. The boys were released to their parents and juvenile petitions were pending.

<cal1>WEAPON VIOLATION

<cal2>Lavender Lane 7200 block - Police responded to a report of shots fired and found shell casings from a shotgun and damage from gunshots to two houses. Investigation revealed a planned fight between two acquaintances had occurred. Several juveniles and adults were identified as being involved, and the investigation is ongoing. Abdullah Tahmas, 23, of Providence Place in Fairfax, was stopped as he drove a car in the area. He was arrested after a warrant check revealed four outstanding narcotics warrants.
