The following incidents were reported by the Herndon Police Department:

<cal1>DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

<lst>13000 block of Worldgate Drive. At 12:03 p.m. on March 19, unknown subject(s) wrote graffiti with a marker on a bench.

13000 block of Worldgate Drive. At 1:35 p.m. on March 20, unknown subject(s) wrote graffiti with a marker on a bench.

300 block of Reneau Way. At 6:29 p.m. on March 13, unknown person(s) scratched and egged a parked vehicle.

<cal1>LARCENY

>lst>1200 block of Elden St.. at 11:11 a.m. on March 20, a black male entered the store and left without paying for merchandise.

500 block of Florida Ave.. At 7:19 a.m. on March 22, unknown subject(s) broke out a window and removed a car stereo from a vehicle.

800 block of Ferndale Ave. At 9 a.m. on March 17, officers responded and took a report of a larceny from vending machines. Surveillance was done and Ray Pittman, a 48 year-old male of Fairfax, was arrested and charged with one count of Grand Larceny and one count of Petit Larceny. Bond was set at $500 for each charge.

<cal1>ASSAULT

<lst>1100 block of Autumnhaze Court. At 11:48 a.m. on March 17, a complainant was grabbed and struck by an acquaintance. The subject also brandished a knife and threatened the complainant. The subject left prior to police arrival. Jose Ronald Ayala, a 30 year-old male of no fixed address, was arrested for Assault and Battery, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. He was held on a $5,000 bond.

600 block of Dulles Park Court. At 9:39 p.m. on March 22, officers responded for an injured person. Upon arrival it was learned an assault had occurred between roommates. One subject struck the other leaving no visible sign of injury. The assailant then struck a wall and cut his own finger. Rescue transported him to the hospital for the injury. Warrant procedures were advised.

1100 block of Whitworth Court. At 10:40 p.m. on March 17, officers responded to the area for a fight. Upon arrival it was learned that three acquaintances had been involved in an altercation. There were minor injuries to the three however a primary aggressor could not be determined. Warrant procedures were advised.

<cal1>DISORDERLY CONDUCT

<lst>1100 block of Crestview Drive. At 4:51 p.m. on March 23, a black male, 18-20 years of age, 5'10", 160 pounds, wearing a black bandana and a black long sleeve shirt came onto the property and began cursing and arguing with citizens in the area. The subject was gone prior to police arrival.

<cal1>EXPOSURE

<lst>300 block of Herndon Parkway. At 10:51 a.m. on March 19, three citizens reported a black male in his forties wearing gray jogging pants, exposed himself to them in the area. The subject was last seen walking towards Reston with a black female.

<cal1>EMBEZZLEMENT

<lst>100 block of Elden St. At 11:34 a.m. on March 19, an employee embezzled more than $60,000 from a business. During the investigation it was learned that this had occurred in other jurisdictions and in excess of $320,000 was recovered. Charges are pending further investigation.

<cal1>TRESPASSING

<lst>1100 block of Elden St. At 11:54 a.m on March 19, Jaime Rodrigo Rivera, a 25 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Trespassing, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. He was held on a $1000 secured bond.

<cal1>URINATING IN PUBLIC

<lst>Elden Street/Station Street. At 11:45 p.m. on March 17, William Edward Griffith III, a 28 year-old male of Reston, was arrested for Urinating in Public and released on his signature.

<cal1>DWI

<lst>300 block of Elden St.. At 10:19 p.m. on March 17, Anne E. Rathbone, a 30 year-old of Reston, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Elden Street/Laurel Way. At 1:54 a.m. on March 18, Todd William Hawley, a 40 year-old male of Reston, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

600 block Elden St. At 1:58 a.m. on March 20, Steven Alvis Ritter, a 21 year-old male of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Bluemont Court/Bond Street. At 1:45 a.m. on March 23, Juan Alfredo Sarmiento-Gonzalez, a 30 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

1100 block of Elden St. At 10:38 a.m. on March 23, Rene Napoleon Jimenez Ayala, a 30 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving on a Revoked License, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. The bond was set at $20,000.

<cal1>NARCOTICS VIOLATION

<lst>1200 block of Elden St. At 4:58 p.m. on March 18, an officer conducted a traffic stop and observed an odor of marijuana in the vehicle. Allison Marie Shanley, a 19 year-old female of Fairfax, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and released on her signature.

<cal1>DRUNK IN PUBLIC

<lst>1200 block of Elden St. At 8:43 a.m. on March 17, Fidel Sanchez Ramirez, a 51 year-old male of no fixed address, was arrested for Drunk In Public and Trespassing, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. An unsecured bond of $250 was set for the Trespassing charge.

1200 block of Elden St.. At 4:58 p.m. on March 18, Bartolome Alverenga Aguirre, a 30 year-old male of no fixed address, was arrested for Drunk In Public, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

1000 block of Elden St. At 1:20 a.m. on March 23, Jose Gomez Barrera, a 23 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Drunk In Public, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

1200 block of Elden St. At 11:07 p.m. on March 23, Leiva Lucio Recinos, a 37 year-old male of Sterling, and Juan Luis Cerritos Rosa, a 34 year-old male of Reston, were arrested for Drunk In Public, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

1000 block of Alabama Drive. At 6:25 p.m. on March 19, Gustavo Adolfo Lopez, a 37 year-old male of Herndon, was arrested for Drunk In Public, transported and turned over to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
