The fifth annual Employee Advisory Council Employee Art Show is displayed on the first floor of the Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, through Thursday, May 22. "Visual Poetry," the work of 14 northern Virginia artists, will open June 3 and continue through July 7 at The Artists' Undertaking Gallery, 309 Mill St., Historic Occoquan. The show will include watercolor paintings, etchings, drawings in pastels, non-traditional photography, black-and-white drawings, art quilts, fused glass, stoneware, stained glass, porcelain, turned wood and silver jewelry. The Celebration Singers, an all-volunteer, 40-voice, three-part harmony choreographed and costumed women's show chorus, invite women interested in singing to join them.
