Woman Robbed at ATM

Police Report

Alexandria police are investigating a robbery of a woman at a local ATM.

According to police, a 19-year-old Alexandria woman was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 18, at around 10:40 p.m. in the 300 block of North Washington Street.

Police said the suspect approached the victim while whe was in her car, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a mask and a black t-shirt and blue jeans.

POLICE ALSO REPORTED another robbery of a 48-year-old man in the 400 block of King Street, Oct. 19, at around 3:25 a.m. Police said the man with no fixed address,

had fallen asleep in a parking garage and was awakened by an individual assaulting him. During the assault, the suspect stole the victim’s wallet and then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his early 50s, 185-200 pounds and wearing a ski-type jacket with a bright pink collar and brown pants. The victim was treated for minor injuries by medics at the scene.

ANOTHER ROBBERY occurred in the 1200 block of South Washington Street, Oct. 18, at 2:25 a.m. Police reported that the victim, a 29-year-old Alexandria man, was approached from behind by an individual who displayed what was believed to be a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot, 8-inches tall.
