<cal2>Lightscapes is an exhibit of stained glass by Erwin Straubinger of Springfield and photograms by Jan Bender of Great Falls. "A Family Garden," watercolors by Marni Maree. Exhibit runs through Thursday, Nov. 6, at The Loft Gallery, 313 Mill St., Occoquan. "A Family Garden" is a series of portraits of the special women in Maree's life. Maree is a member of the Arts Council of Fairfax County; the Art League, Alexandria; Vienna Art Society; Fairfax Art League and is currently the president of Springfield Art Guild. 9th Annual Student Mixed Media Glass Show, featuring intermediate and advanced level work, runs through Nov. 1, at the Virginia Stained Glass Company, 5248-A Port Royal Road, Springfield. The Yarn Barn, located at 9413-C Old Burke Lake Road, Burke is hosting a trunk show of Manos del Uruguay yarns and patterns, from Nov. 22-29. Flea Market, co-sponsored by the Merrifield Lions Club and the Arlington-Fairfax Elks Lodge, takes place every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, located at 8421 Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) in Fairfax. No rain dates. 175 vendor spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations for vendors can be made by calling 703-560-3023. Charge for vendors is $15 per space.
