Arrest Made in Fairfax Homicide

<bt>Ashburn resident Noel Tran Dabney, 27, has been arrested and charged with the murder of a 24-year-old Fairfax-area man.

At about 3:15 a.m. on Sept. 4, Dabney went to the 3000 block of Mission Square Drive and confronted Anh-Tuan Tran, 24, and a woman. According to Fairfax County police, he stabbed them both, then fled from the house. Tran died at the scene and the woman was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Dabney was located and arrested at Loudoun Hospital Center. He is being guarded there, where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

"We still have a deputy on shift who is guarding him at Loudoun Hospital," said Kraig Troxell, public information officer for the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, on Tuesday morning.

Dabney lives at the 43000 block of Glenhazel Drive in Ashburn.
