Although the start of the day was wet, skies cleared Saturday, Sept. 13, for the second annual Irish Traditional Music and Dance Festival at Van Dyck Park in Fairfax. Sponsored by the O'Neill-Malcolm branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, the festival featured 21 area musicians and dance groups performing on two stages from 12-6 p.m. In the evening, festival-goers participated in the monthly ceili (KAY-lee) dance at the John C. Wood Complex.
