Working on 'Peter Pan'

"Peter Pan" has been a big challenge for all of us. We started working last year as soon as our director Caren Hearne announced that we were doing "Peter Pan." We also decided that we wanted to perform the way it was done on Broadway — to fly like Mary Martin.

Well, after a lot of fund raising we are going to fly. "Peter Pan" has been a lot of fun and hard work for everyone. We have been very excited learning how to fight and fence. It also has been really fun working with the children. Most of us have done this before working in our Children's Theatre, but this time it includes rehearsals and actual performances.

"Peter Pan" is a very active, action-packed musical. Lots of activity and people on stage doing a lot of things at the same time. It will be a lot of work to make sure we do not get confused with everything going on.

Everyone has learned a lot and are very anxious to give the best performance that we can. This is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us to do "Peter Pan" and we are giving it our best.

Come see a great show. We have matinees which is better for children and grandparents. We hope everyone enjoys the shows.
