<sh>Burglar Hits Three Businesses

<bt>Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the man responsible for a series of commercial burglaries that occurred overnight on Wednesday, March 3. Three separate businesses in the Reston area had money stolen from the cash registers and in one of the businesses, the cash register itself was stolen. Entry was made into all three by smashing out the front window or door glass. The suspect was described as a black male with a light complexion, 35 to 40-years-old, wearing glasses. He appeared heavy-set. The vehicle involved appeared to be a two-toned sport utility vehicle, possibly a 1996 or 1997 Ford Explorer. Anyone with information on these burglaries or the man involved is asked to call Fairfax County Crime Solvers at 1-800-673-2777 or 703-691-8888. A $1000 cash reward will be paid for information which leads to an arrest and indictment. As always, callers never have to give their names or appear in court.
