The fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders at Herndon Elementary performed "Celebrate You and Me" at their Winter Musical Jan. 15.
The show, written by Roger Emerson, is designed to help children build self-esteem through music and skits. Musical selections included "Celebrate You and Me," "R-E-S-P-E-C-T," "I Want to Belong," and "I Believe in Me."
The show was performed for the school during the day then reprised later that evening for parents and community members.
