PEEPING TOM ARREST

Fairfax County police arrested a 32-year old man in the 8000 block of Powderbrook Lane in the West Springfield area for alleged peeping and indecent exposure. Police said Philip Nelson of 6188 Edsall Road in the Alexandria area, was arrested Thursday, July 1, at approximately 2 a.m. when he was seen by a 16-year-old female victim peeping into a rear sliding glass door and masturbating.

When the victim noticed the stranger she screamed for help. The man fled the scene in his car, and was later stopped by police in the vicinity. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with peeping, indecent exposure and driving while intoxicated.

The suspect was held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on a $4,500 bond.

ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED

The man suspected in at least five robberies in Fairfax County has been arrested. On June 27, police received a tip directing them to an address in the 4400 block of Saint Edwards Place in Fairfax City. Police arrested Will Cater, Jr. at 4:15 p.m. He was transported to the Loudoun County line where Loudoun County Officers accepted custody of Cater for a robbery in Loudoun County.

June 8, 6691 Backlick Road (convenience store)

June 10, 14010 Saint Germain Drive (gas station)

June 12, 8225 Gunston Corner Lane (gas station)

June 22, 5200 Rolling Road (gas station)
