The following incidents were reported by the Herndon Police Department:

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

1200 block Bond Street. June 21 at 12:17 p.m., a plastic window on a parked vehicle was cut.

1200 block Bond Street. June 21 at 5:22 p.m., four tires were cut on a parked vehicle.

1200 block Herndon Parkway. June 27 at 12:16 a.m., a window was broken on a parked vehicle.

1100 block Bicksler Drive. June 24 at 6:30 p.m., a mailbox was struck with a baseball bat.

1200 block Alabama Drive. June 26 at 11:30 p.m., all four tires were cut and the windshield was broken on a parked vehicle.

900 block Alabama Drive. June 30 at 10:02 p.m., a stereo was damaged in a residence.

ASSAULT

13000 block Worldgate Drive. July 3 at 6:43 p.m., two complainants reported a female subject spit on them while sitting in a business. The suspect was located and was determined to be intoxicated. She was arrested for drunk in public and transported to the Fairfax County ADC. Warrant procedures for the assault were advised.

1200 block Elden Street. July 03 at 6:20 a.m., the complainant was lifted off the ground by her forearms and thrown into some shopping carts by an acquaintance. Red marks were observed on her forearms. Juan Antonio Torres, 27, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC for assault. The magistrate issued a $500 secured bond and an emergency protective order.

400 block Elden Street. July 4 at 6:08 p.m., the victim was struck with a cane on his head and back by an acquaintance. Edward Charles Escowitz, 58, of Reston, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC where the magistrate issued a $500 unsecured bond.

400 block Madison Street. July 2 at 2:47 a.m., the complainant was punched in her eye by an acquaintance. A bruise and swelling was observed. Todd Andrew Jacob, 25, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

700 block Third Street. July 3 at 7:47 p.m., the complainant was grabbed by the hair by an acquaintance. Stephen Anderson, 38, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

LARCENY

300 block Missouri Avenue. July 3 at 9:25 a.m., the stereo was removed from the vehicle.

1200 block Alabama Drive. June 27 at 8 p.m., the compact disc player was removed from a vehicle.

1100 block Freshrain Court. July 2 at 4:11 a.m., a witness heard a loud noise outside, turned on the porch light and the suspects took off running. The stereo and four wheels were found to have been removed from a vehicle. The property was recovered from different yards on Clearwater Court.

700 block Monroe Street. June 28 at 12 p.m., a paycheck was forged and cashed. This case is active-patrol.

400 block Elden Street. July 3 at 7:16 p.m., George Franklin Wines, 47, of Herndon, was released on a summons for Concealment.

1000 block Young Avenue. June 28 at 12 p.m., a Goodman air conditioning unit was removed from a home under construction.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC ARRESTS

1100 block Elden Street. June 28 at 9:36 p.m., Carlos Adolfo Rodriguez Zepeda, 45, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

1000 block Elden Street. June 29 at 12:11 a.m., Walter Hernandez Meija, 26, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

1100 block Herndon Parkway. July 2 at 9:46 p.m., Enzel Sudler, 44, of no fixed address, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

1000 block Sterling Road. July 2 at 12:58 p.m., Cayetano Lovo, 45, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

1000 block Casper Drive. July 4 at 5 a.m., Jose Walter Meija, 30, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

OTHER VIOLATIONS

Magnolia Drive/Alabama Drive. July 2 at 10 a.m., oil was dumped into a storm drain.

1200 block Wilshire Drive. July 3 at 2:06 a.m., a male juvenile was observed acting suspicious outside of an unknown residence. The juvenile was taken into custody for possession of stolen property and possession of burglarious tools. The juvenile was turned over to his mother. Petitions will be obtained at a later date.

1200 block Springtide Place. June 29 at 6:20 a.m., Sary Elkashif, 18, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC for trespassing. Elkashif was verbally banned from the property the prior week. The magistrate issued a $500 secured bond.

1200 block Herndon Parkway. July 1 at 7:07 p.m., trespassing, a juvenile male was banned from the pool.

600 block Elden Street. June 28 at 9:02 p.m., trespassing, an unknown subject was observed checking car doors in the parking lot of a business.

400 block Elden Street. June 29 at 12 p.m., an employee embezzled $2,217.45 on eight different occasions from a business. This case is active-patrol.

500 block Grove Street. June 30 at 5:22 p.m., trespassing, three male juveniles were verbally banned from the property.

700 block Lynn Street. June 30 at 1:39 p.m., trespassing, five male juveniles were given verbal warnings.

800 block Colvin Court. July 1 at 6:23 p.m., noise violation, verbal warning.

700 block Lynn Street. July 4 at 10:22 p.m., after responding to a fight, a strong odor of alcoholic beverage was smelled on the complainant, she was unable to be controlled, was using profanity, and resisted arrest. Sarah Catherine McGuire, 50, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC for disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer. The magistrate issued a $4,500 secured bond.

DRUG/NARCOTICS VIOLATION

800 block Elden Street. June 30 at 1:34 a.m., Nicole Mowbray Hill, 21, of Leesburg, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC for DUI and possession of marijuana. The magistrate issued a $500 unsecured bond on each of the charges.

400 block Herndon Parkway. July 1 at 3:04 a.m., officers investigating suspicious activity resulted in the discovery of two handguns and illegal narcotics. The substances field tested positive for PCP and marijuana. Stephanie Lee Angelo, 18, of Ashburn, who rented the room was transported to the Fairfax County ADC where the magistrate issued warrants for possession of firearm while in possession of drugs, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance.

200 block Elden Street. July 4 at 3:03 a.m., Rashard Armeens Meyers, 27, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC for possession of marijuana where the magistrate issued a $1,500 secured bond.

LIQUOR LAW VIOLATIONS

1100 block Shannon Place. June 29 at 12 a.m., a juvenile male was observed hiding a bottle of gin. The juvenile was released into his father's custody. Petitions will be obtained at a later date.

WEAPON LAW OFFENSES

1100 block Shannon Place. June 29 at 9:20 p.m., a juvenile male was observed concealing an object. When approached, it was determined to be a butterfly knife. The juvenile was released into his father's custody. Petitions will be obtained at a later date.

DWI ARRESTS

700 block Elden Street. June 28 at 11:21 p.m., Thomas Sawyer Sims Jr., 23, of McLean, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC.

1000 block Elden Street. July 2 at 2:24 a.m., Jessica Marie Reagle, 22, of Clifton, was arrested and transported to Fairfax County ADC where the magistrate issued a $1,000 unsecured bond.
