The Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office has decided not to go forward at this time with charges against Stephen Lewis of Mount Vernon.
Lewis, 45, was arrested on April 13, and charged with indecent exposure. On June 25, the case was “nol prossed.” According to the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office, this means that the charges against Lewis have been temporarily dismissed.
The state's office said charges can be re-instated if other evidence is developed. Officials said there may have been several reasons the case did not proceed, citing as an example, lack of witnesses.
Lewis is a teacher at West Potomac High School.
