Brian N. Coates of Springfield was inducted into the Alpha Delta Chapter of Theta Alpha Kappa, the National Honor Society of Religious and Theological Studies at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. Brian also received the Landis and John D. Freeman Christian Leadership Award, which was established by the Freeman Family to recognize and encourage a sophomore student at Belmont University who is demonstrating unusual potential as a Christian leader as chosen by the School of Religion Faculty. Brian is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Hammond A. Coates of Springfield.
