<cal2>2004 Loudoun Career Fair. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Dulles Town Center in Sterling. Approximately 100 exhibitors are expected at the fair, including employers with job opportunities at all levels in a broad range of fields as well as educational institutions and others who provide job skills training. The fair is free for job seekers and there is no pre-registration. Job candidates should dress professionally, bring multiple copies of their resume, and make their first stop the registration desk to pick up an event program. The registration desk will be located on the first floor behind the elevators in the center court of the mall. Book discussion. Rust Library will host a book club for discussion on the Magic Tree House book series at 4 p.m. The books chronicle the adventures of eight-year-old Jack and his seven-year-old sister, Annie. Recommended for ages 6 to 9. Advance registration is required, call 703-771-5624.

Ashburn Library will host John Drummond for a program on the Birds of Banshee Reeks at 10 a.m. Learn about the animals of flight that make their home at Banshee Reeks, the 700-acre nature preserve in Leesburg. "Rosie the Riveter." Ashburn Library will host a free viewing and discussion series "The Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter" on at 2 p.m. The film features five former "Rosies" who recall their histories working in Detroit, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco during the war. Bluegrass Music. Larry Sparks and the Lonesome Ramblers will be at the Lucketts Community Center. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the music will begin at 7 p.m. The tickets are sold at the door and cost $10. Refreshments are available at the snack bar. Spring Barrel Tasting at Tarara. Barrel Tasting is one of the biggest events of the year at Tarara, as the winery welcomes visitors to sample wines right out of the barrel. Unlike tasting finished wines, guests will taste immature wines that provide only a hint of what the finished product will be like. The winery, located in a 6000 square foot cave, will be transformed with candlelight, live entertainment performed by Kokopelli Winds, gourmet faire provided by Rumored Creations and wines-in-the-making sampled directly from the barrels.

Flea Market. The Sterling Annex on West Church Road in Sterling will hold its monthly indoor Flea Market on Saturday, March 6 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Spaces are $10 each with tables and chairs provided. Second annual Meadowlark Nature Photography Exhibition, today and March 7, at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna. Professional and top amateur photographers from the Northern Virginia Alliance of Camera Clubs (NOVACC) will host the event from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day in the indoor garden setting of The Atrium and in the Gardens' Visitor's Center.
